Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)

IRS TAX CREDIT Information

National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program

For designated Interstate EV charging. 80% of the total installed cost. Requires four 150 kW Level 3 EVSEs within 1 mile of the corridor.  Must be on the designated Alt-Fuel Corridor (see below).

80% of the total installed cost to support alt fuel corridors and other sites supporting communities:

Alternative Fuel Corridor Designation Program

  • What are EV Charging Stations?

    EV charging stations are facilities equipped with charging units that provide electrical power to recharge electric vehicles. They range from basic home chargers to advanced commercial and public stations, offering various charging speeds to accommodate different needs and vehicle models.


    EV Chargers are designated as Type 1, 2 and 3. Type 1, are chargers that connect through a plug to a standard 110V Grounded Socket single phase 15 Amp. Type 2 are chargers that are connected to two phases with the ability to deliver 240V and up to 80 Amp. Type 3 are DC Fast Chargers from 30 kW and up.

  • How do I find an EV charging station?
