Fleet owners need to complete financial analyses in order to make good business decisions. Fundamentally, the investment depends on the fuel expense savings over time, compared against the new investment in vehicles and possibly infrastructure. Simple payback calculations are useful for “first blush” evaluations, but may not lead to the best final decision when all factors are considered.

EV charging stations are facilities equipped with charging units that provide electrical power to recharge electric vehicles. They range from basic home chargers to advanced commercial and public stations, offering various charging speeds to accommodate different needs and vehicle models.
EV Chargers are designated as Type 1, 2 and 3. Type 1, are chargers that connect through a plug to a standard 110V Grounded Socket single phase 15 Amp. Type 2 are chargers that are connected to two phases with the ability to deliver 240V and up to 80 Amp. Type 3 are DC Fast Chargers from 30 kW and up.
